At 12:12 on May 17, 2025, the Zhuque – 2 Y2 carrier rocket completed its flight mission as scheduled, successfully sending six satellites into the predetermined orbit, and the launch mission achieved a complete success.

The Zhuque – 2 is a two – stage launch vehicle independently developed by Landspace. Both the first and second stages of the rocket are equipped with liquid oxygen – methane engines, providing strong thrust and attitude control capabilities for the rocket’s flight. As a result, the Zhuque – 2 has become the world’s first liquid oxygen – methane rocket to successfully orbit, marking a significant breakthrough in the application of new low – cost liquid propellants for China’s launch vehicles.

With its globally leading technology and safe – reliable quality, Weihua has played an irreplaceable role in the production and manufacturing of the rocket’s core power components. The self – developed electrical anti – sway technology can reduce the sway amplitude by 95%, with the hoisting accuracy error being only 2 millimeters. This significantly improves the stability and accuracy during the hoisting of the rocket’s core power components. This technology is a world – first, filling the technological gap in this field.

Landspace is one of the earliest private rocket companies in China and the first private launch – vehicle enterprise in China to obtain all access qualifications. With the rise of private aerospace enterprises, Weihua’s technological accumulation is extending to emerging fields such as commercial satellite launches and transportation of space experimental equipment, helping private aerospace enterprises continuously enhance their competitiveness in the international commercial launch market and laying a solid foundation for Chinese private aerospace enterprises to “go global”.
