On January 8, Henan Weihua convened its 2024 Lean Project Summary and Talent Certification Conference. The meeting reviewed the year’s progress on lean initiatives and awarded Lean Talent Certification certificates to outstanding employees who excelled in lean project work and successfully passed the lean assessment.

Chairman Xie Baohua of Henan Weihua attended and addressed the meeting. Vice President Dai Yanyun presided over the proceedings. Vice Presidents Niu Pengchao, Sheng Xiaofang, and Wang Shuang; Deputy Director Gao Yanfang of Weihua Group’s Finance Center; managers from Henan Weihua’s departments; and employees receiving talent certifications participated in the event.

Xie Baohua stated that the implementation of the Lean project has introduced advanced management concepts, problem-solving tools, and methodologies to our company, enhancing our capacity for future operations. While this year’s Lean project has concluded, but lean management is an ongoing journey. He expressed hope that all employees certified as lean professionals would continue integrating lean principles and methodologies into daily operations, inspiring and influencing their colleagues to participate in lean improvements. This will ensure lean thinking permeates every process and aspect of the company’s operations.

At the meeting, Dai Yanyun reported on three aspects: the project activity background, project outcomes, and project summary. She stated that through the implementation of this lean production project, lean thinking has been introduced across all business layers including marketing, procurement, planning, production, quality, and equipment. Lean management methods have been fully practiced and applied, with lean mechanisms and process management preliminarily established, successfully creating Henan Weihua’s lean management model.
