To enhance the company’s hazardous waste emergency management and rescue capabilities, as well as the emergency response skills of all employees in handling sudden environmental incidents, the Environmental Safety Department, Warehouse Department, and Production Department of Henan Weihua jointly organized an emergency response drill for waste mineral oil spills on September 15.
The drill simulated a scenario where a drum containing waste mineral oil overturned during transportation, causing a spill. Upon discovering the incident, workers immediately reported the situation to the company’s emergency command center following the procedures outlined in the Environmental Emergency Response Plan. On-site responders, equipped with protective gear and containment tools, rushed to the scene to contain the spilled oil. Facing the sudden fire caused by the oil spill, the response team effectively controlled the situation and successfully completed the drill.
