In response to the theme of the National Work Safety Month, “Everyone Talks about Safety, Everyone Can Respond”, to enhance employees’ awareness of fire safety and improve their self – rescue and prevention capabilities, on June 20th, Henan Weihua specially invited firefighters from Changyuan City to organize a fire evacuation emergency drill. Xie Baohua, the executive president of Henan Weihua, served as the general commander of the drill.
The Drill Site
This drill simulated a sudden fire in the company’s dormitory building, triggering an alarm, and the relevant personnel carried out scenes of evacuating and escaping from the fire scene. The participants were divided into an evacuation and warning group and a fire – fighting and rescue group. The drill content included fire information monitoring, personnel evacuation, on – site fire – fighting disposal, etc.

At 7:10 p.m., the drill officially started. The fire – fighting linkage system was activated, and the sound and light alarm devices on each floor sent out evacuation signals. The evacuation and warning group organized the evacuation of personnel on each floor, arranged ambulances and medical supplies, and set up warnings at each intersection to prevent unrelated vehicles from entering. After the fire – fighting and rescue group arrived at the scene with fire – fighting equipment, they extinguished the “burning” room. The employees living on each floor gathered at the designated place according to the guidance of the evacuators. Finally, the fire was contained, and each group completed the drill content quickly and orderly.

Xie Baohua, the executive president of Henan Weihua, affirmed the effectiveness of this drill. Xie Baohua emphasized that for an enterprise, doing a good job in fire safety is an important guarantee for the lives and property of all employees and the key to promoting the healthy development of the enterprise. We must always be vigilant and persevere in our efforts. At the same time, Xie Baohua pointed out that there were deficiencies in this drill, such as the response speed of personnel evacuation. In the future, relevant departments should continuously improve the emergency procedures and fire – fighting plans, identify and make up for deficiencies to ensure that they are scientific, practical, and effective, and escort the achievement of Henan Weihua’s annual safety goals.
