Recently, Weihua’s bulk material conveying equipment worth over 100 million yuan was successfully delivered. This order is for the first phase of the Jingzhou Coal Water-Rail Intermodal Storage and Distribution Base project, including a total of 36 belt conveyors for railway import and export, waterway import and export, bulk cargo export berths, car dumper unloading lines, rear coal storage and blending facilities, and corresponding belt conveyors, with a total length of 13 kilometers.
The Jingzhou Coal Water-Rail Intermodal Storage and Distribution Base has four major functions: logistics distribution, emergency reserve, coal blending, and coal trading. It is a key construction project in Hubei Province, with an annual coal throughput of 50 million tons. It will become the largest coal trading and storage center in Central China. The official operation of the first phase marks the emergence of an important logistics node in the national “North Coal South Transport” strategy.
As one of China’s key projects, the scale and technology of this project are world-leading. Weihua, as the core equipment supplier for the coal conveying system of this base, plays a pivotal role in ensuring the material supply of the base with the belt conveyors it supplies.
