Introduction

The gantry crane for shield tunneling is a specialized lifting device specifically used in tunnel engineering, particularly for subway shield construction. Its main task is to be responsible for the safe lifting and transfer of large shield machine components, segments, muck, and other construction materials on the construction site.

  • The gantry crane for shield tunneling is mainly used for the installation of the cutterhead and shield body of the trenchless shield machine, as well as the lifting of tunnel support segments during construction.
  • It adopts a special spreader that can rotate 360°, suitable for installing the cutterhead at different angles.
  • It adopts a double-trolley structure. The two trolleys can be linked for lifting the cutterhead or operate independently for lifting segments.
  • The hoisting mechanism uses open gear drive, saving costs.
