Weihua LB explosion-proof single-girder crane is a lifting equipment specially designed for flammable and explosive environments. Based on a conventional electric single-girder crane, it applies special explosion-proof treatment to the electrical system and components that may generate sparks, thereby significantly reducing the risk of operation in hazardous environments.
Structural Composition
The LB explosion-proof electric single-girder crane mainly consists of an explosion-proof bridge, explosion-proof hoisting trolley, explosion-proof travel mechanism, explosion-proof electrical system, and safety protection devices.
Explosion-proof Bridge: Adopts a box-type structure for the main girder and end carriages, ensuring overall rigidity and stability.
Explosion-proof Hoisting Trolley and Travel Mechanism: The hoisting trolley is used in conjunction with an explosion-proof electric hoist. The electrical components of these explosion-proof hoists (e.g., HB(BCD), HBS(BMD) types), such as the lifting and traveling motors and brakes, are flameproof treated. Additionally, the tread and flange parts of the trolley and crane wheels are manufactured using stainless steel or other non-sparking materials to prevent sparks from friction or impact.
Explosion-proof Electrical System: This is the core for achieving the explosion-proof function. All electrical equipment, such as explosion-proof switches, explosion-proof limit switches, explosion-proof power inlets, explosion-proof operating devices (ground push button or remote control), and explosion-proof lighting fixtures, comply with explosion-proof standards. Power supply for the trolley and crane typically uses flexible cable power supply. Small components like the small rollers on the cable trolley and the bumper wheels of limit switches are often made of copper material to further prevent spark generation.
Safety Protection Devices: Include explosion-proof limit switches (e.g., hoisting limit, travel limit), and overload limiters, etc. These devices themselves also possess explosion-proof characteristics.
